I've always had a passion for food and eating well. It's something instilled in me by my parents from a young age and now it's just part of my DNA.
After honing my skills as a Chef here at home and overseas, the obvious next step was to open my own shop, and so in 2016 Modern Hunter was born.
It's a small cafe in the heart of the Brisbane CBD (you'll find it tucked away on Gresham Lane), and we keep things simple; focusing on consistently great coffee and making delicious, healthy meals accessible to busy people.
I named the cafe 'Modern Hunter' as a reference to my customer being a hunter in this day and age. They no longer have to 'hunt' in the traditional sense, but they seek out experiences that enrich their lives.
More recently, I've expanded Modern Hunter to be able to offer private catering for special events, with customisable shared feasting-style menus for all tastes and dietary requirements.
